It isn’t as big as a whole courtyard but the apartment “Salzhof” (Salt Courtyard) offers versatile options in its spacious living and sleeping areas.
The name of the apartment refers to the oldest commercial street in Münster. The Salt street or “Salzstraße” is today the busiest shopping street. The actual “Salzhof” is the big corner building with its historical white façade dating back to 1910 and it houses the Münster city museum since 1989. It is also worthwhile to look at the plaster of the buildings on the street. Brass bordered stones from all other Hanseatic cities were mounted there on the occasion of the 1200th annual celebration of this city.
